Pisces69 6th Gear April 30, 2005 Share April 30, 2005 From the scrapyard my mech got the full set of motor & regulator assy. Sud b the best as the're original & made in japan. If only your motor spoilt, u can also consider to just change it. Remember not to get those made in china or from HK. I had one installed but lasted less than 1 year only. It was a piece of junk although the damm mech charged me almost same price as an OEM one & assured me it was damm good. BTW, I don't go to that mech anymore. Hoppe Clutched April 30, 2005 Share April 30, 2005 got power or not? If window cannot go up, most probably gear is spoilt. Can easily get that fixed for $30 or less.
Apollo 1st Gear April 30, 2005 Share April 30, 2005 normally will be the dc electric motor winder. this comes in a small palm size gadger probably in cast iron casing and a cable attached to the end. i used to diy them myself but u will need 2 person. and one of them must b pretty strong to lift n hold the glass in place for at least 15 minutes, whilst the other guy will race against time to dismantle existing and put in new, and make sure that the glass is aligned properly, so it will slide up/ down properly. misalignment means it will get jammed.
