Wahh....install an ECU and make the car go faster, save fuel, more power....I also want but realistically, I don't think it is possible !

Firstly, all our cars are equipped with an immobiliser transponder which make it impossible for someone to steal our cars with a duplicate key ! This function ties in with the ECU and installing another ECU, you are gonna have problem starting your car subsequently. Unless you have the old 1.5 Aveo which did not come with an immo, then I think it is possible. I do believe that the Aveo in Malaysia are all 1.5 and do not come with Immos !

Secondly, where got cheap, green, big tits and must be fertile ( translate it to Hokkien ) type of deal. More power means more fuel, so how to get more power with less fuel ???

The only way, you can actually get more power is to mechanically improve the engine... use better flow filters, bigger valves, polished intake ports, skim head to max, increase compression ratio by dome pistons, install race profile cams, race plugs, extractor exhaust system, free flow muffler...etc. The list never end ! But all this mean more fuel and more money invested not to mention the legality issue involved when Traffic Police catches you !

If you want to save fuel, buy a small Kancil with 650 cc engine. If you want power, change to a Subaru WRX or Evo ! Other than that, stay on the ground and drive your Chevy stock !

I don't know much about chevy but changing an ECU will be a major project in most cases.

Most of the time, to improve power, modders will either chipped or flash the ECU. This is similar to programming where the ECU is artificially 'tuned' to do 'extra'.
