i feel that my FC seems to be better...usually left 1/4 mark i will go around 390-395, now the meter is still 2 bar ahead of the 1/4 mark....and i have already clocked 400km...changing extractor will improve FC?

dummy/remove both are illegal

either way ur exhaust will sound different and TP/ROV can tell

for a low powered na car like ur 323, stick to stock

going either way wun unleash any more horses, only more noise and pollution

save the planet for ur kids sake

if my memory nvr failed me,its not legal...anybody wana clarify here???

the guy at FK will do anything jus for sale...

try not to bargain there...he might accept ur bargain but the product use might be different liao...

remove cat n dummy cat shd be similar...

dummy cat they also remove the cat but put a fake cat as disguised...

the inspectors r able to tell by knocking at the cat...if the sound is empty, cat is removed...the guy at FK also tell me his dummy cat is good...the sound after knocking is similar to theose with cat...but i dun reali believe him...

see my post above, mod cat is 100% illegal as its tampering with environmental safety, which is the majority of wat homologation is, ensuring the vehicle operates within environmental specs

at inspection they not gonna knock knock and hear the sound, cat is so frigging hot after driving to inspection centre it prob take 1.5hr to cool down to "room temp", they hear they sound when they ram the engine

wondering the piping shown on the pic will do any enhancement to Altis... unsure.gif

the gain hav to depend on the quality n workmanship...ofcos brand plays a part....

u shd check if its a mandrel bend extractor....

if u get the right extractor for ur car,the gain can be as much ah 10 horses....

i heard of the power gain ... the angle of band very important nod.gif

Exhaust system[/url]

statics.0.gifstatics.0.gifmodification_allowed_lta.MainPar.0007.Image.gif(e.g. exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, mufflers, etc.)

The exhaust system, which consists of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter and muffler, is used as part of a vehicle's exhaust emission control system to ensure that the exhaust emission meets our environmental requirements. Any modification to the exhaust system would therefore require LTA's approval. The following should be submitted to LTA for evaluation:

a) Certification from the product manufacturer stating that the proposed aftermarket exhaust system is suitable for the make and model of the vehicle.

b) Certifications or test reports from independent test laboratories such as TUV, DEKRA, JVIA, VCA etc. to show that the aftermarket exhaust system when fitted to the vehicle on a per make and model basis complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards.

Note: Removing catalytic converters and mufflers are not allowed as it will adversely affect the exhaust emission characteristics of the vehicle.
