Also may want to check out Colin@Eurohaus at 51 Ubi Ave 1 #03-24 Paya Ubi Industrial Park, tel - 6744 8182. The chap running the show drives, among other things, a lovely 1st generation Beetle cabrio, which I guess speaks volumes about his accessibility to spares....

 

Btw, is your Sharan by any chance a vr6 ?

Hi,

 

Sorry, just trying to be sarcastic.

 

I just mean that there is no market value for this type of car. Not many buyers around. That's why I bought mine sooo cheap. Will have to drive it to the ground.

 

But its a very very good mpv. Very comfortable, just enough power and excellent for long distances. I drove frm Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur non-stop and still feel fresh upon arrival. Very different from the BMW 525 which I also used to do this before the VW.

Go to Xin Zhong .

 

They are the parts distributor (stockist) for VW, and they are supplying quite a number of old beetle parts to some owners as far as from Penang / KL area.

 

Saw a couple of them in the shop when they were in town.

 

Look for Mr Yap (old man) or Jeffrey .
