Which workshop?

G'day all. Just got myself a new ride (SLK 200). Besides sending it to C & C for it's servicing, anyone out there can recommend any workshops that specialises in continental cars that i can send my car too? Thanks

There is a good poison for our M271 engine - Kleemann pulley/K-Box kit that ups the power to 210bhp and 300Nm

 

I'm still deliberating. Product at Benzline.

Their workshop that does the Kleemann upgrade would also do servicing. Benzline is not really a garage, but an importer of made for Merc products like Lorinser, AMG, Kleemann, Carlsson etc.

Was thinking of going for the MKB ECU upgrade ... mo mechanical/Elec mod - safer ...

Yep. That's an idea, but from what I know, Kleemann controls the pricing pretty tightly.

Am driving a E200K (W211). Just got it 2nd hand. Going to upgrade my rims to 18" also. So you still going for the Kleesman thingy ?

I also need further help!! i just went down to PDR (paintless dent removal) today to remove some dents. one of them was pretty close to the base of the radio antenna. After the job was completed, when i was driving home, i realised that the radio reception had a lot of static noise and interference! and it was on all frequencies! the guy prob broke some wires or dislodged something in the process i guess...sigh

lastly, after parking my car, the remote lock doesn't work anymore! (even after changing batteries) Had to lock it manually!

Wow, if i only knew that shoving rods under the skin of the merc can do so much damage...sigh

Any recommendations anyone?

The last i checked, it cost $218,888 on paper (incl coe). However, if u take a 80% loan, they can drop the price to about $208k - $209k. If you wanna get a parallel import SLK 200 (brand new), the price is about $185k - $189k, but i'm sure you know about the warranty issue with parallel imported cars. I bought mine 2nd hand for $176k.

Anyways, the prob was fixed. Wire came lose, juz had to connect it back :)

Is it using the same engine as E200 and C180/200?

A few A-class owners and me ran a Merc A-class club for a couple of years before it died.

It takes a lot of dedication and interest to run one but it sure felt good to do it and I would like to have a go again, provided we can get more Merc owners to join.
