Freelance ICE installer?

Anyone here knows of a freelancer who does a good job? I'm only fitting new front components, an AMP for the front speakers, re-align the head unit (because a silly shop in Toa Payoh messed it up and couldn't fix it, too fed up to go back) and most importantly, troubleshoot why the radio reception sucks BIG TIME.

Oh yes, I'll probably need to cut a couple of holes and cover them up with mesh cloth on the rear parcel shelf to let the bass tube punch through.

Anyone? Any idea on cost of the whole works? I have the existing equipment from my previous car so there isn't much to buy, other than maybe speaker wires and RCA cables?

I had used Jason for my past 2 cars.

Cheap and good. Just that his shop

a bit difficult to find.

You can called him over the phone

and ask for a quote before you go down.

And he will give you an exact quote.

Honest guy.

Yup,

Thanks for the intro of JK audio.

Jason is really great and detailed in the workmanship.

Best part is he is the boss and also the installer, so won't be like some audio shop that have to depend on your luck whether the worker is good or not.

Once again, thanks for introduction of this superb audio shop.

Regards

Liang

i tried after reading up reviews over here but was abit disappointed.

made an appt and went down, there was a ride there so i waited. went down for simple stuffs only, i bought a HU from a bro but not dekitted yet so went down to dekit his HU, and dekit mine, and install his HU on mine.

Cut the story short, after installing and tested the HU functions, the radio, the ipod functions, the dvd functions, the reverse cam all worked well... i drove off thinking everything should be okay. but upon reaching my carpark i felt the subwoofer was abit funny, so i turned up the volume and was surprised to hear songs from the sub.. lol. i was thinking sub shouldnt haf music one leh except punch.

abit scared to return to him to let him troubleshoot, went back to my regular installer and indeed one of the wires was plucked in wrongly. just my 2cts worth la, had abit of expectations esp since his reviews here was quite good, but ended up i still need to do double work.

What cable was that? RCA? Plugged into rear speakers output instead of sub output? Some head unit can use rear output for sub.

hmm, just thought of sharing my experience with the installer.

thought it'll be fair for pple who have yet visited, at least they got options to choose.

his worksmanship is quite okay lah and he do work quite fast, but i think he's not familar with sony HU from the way he tried to setup the HU, maybe that's the reason why he plucked in the wrong cable.
