Louis_v Neutral Newbie October 6, 2005 Share October 6, 2005 The stuff has all arrived but because I added an additional sub... have to get an extra amp so now using 3 x PHD Pro 2140 and 1 x PHD 4070 to run the BE 3 way and the 2 BE subs.... but there might be a prob with the subs cos the db is only at 86 so may not be up to mark for SPL.... anyway, foon is looking into that now. Worst case is to fix 2 x 13" focal polyglass sub instead.... but still keeping my fingers crossed as I would really want to retain the BE subs. But saw that the sub uses 6 Red voice coil, similar to PHD AF pro sub, really amazing. The 13" sub will seems like overkill in ur car, man. Glad that you have finally finalise your stuff, at least AE can start doing, and we can start waiting to audit............. Louis_v Neutral Newbie October 6, 2005 Share October 6, 2005 Well, as ER quoted, Focal must have a good reason why its BE series subs are only 8" and 5" so well, let's see what comes out of this? Anyway, sub is easily replaceable. Yes, the 13" will be a overkill considering the size of my car. Was considering the PHD AF Pro, but they only have 1 on stock so that is really a no go since the date for the competition is drawing near. Yeh, the Luxman was really too luxurious.... hopefully the p90 can live up to its expectations! No prob on the audit as I mentioned to Andrew before. Talking about Andrew, hes going for the luxman!
