Bro...you guys should get this plug. Got this yesterday and has been driving to several places today. The car is like on steroids man....never felt it so lively before.

Been using standard plug and NGK Iridium but never felt this way before.

However, don't go to petrol kiosk and ask them to change the plugs for you. Bloody cut throat....they charge me $15 for this. Damn. few months back at a nearby workshop, the mechanic asked for $2 from me only. Should have went back there.

I jujst fixed a set of Volker iridium/ platinum plugs onto my aveo at bedok. Supposedly german made and better than denso in plug life. Also cheaper.

Read abt it at http://www.volker-iridium.com/

Can last 160K vs stock 20K. 52 mackaroos vs 10 for stock.

not a bad deal I reckon.

Go to JL Autocare 3012 Bedok Ind Pk E #01-2072.

Call Jeffrey 64460300 to make sure he has yr plug size (better give him yr current plug brand and part number) first.

I got it for 63 for a pack of four.

But since another bro here say volker is better, maybe can give that a try also....

Just dun go to petrol kiosk to get it changed.

The car really feels so much better. It has more "eager" and more push. A light tap on the gas and the car just wanna bulldoze forward.

Can get Tien or me to help you change. Only for a 70-80cts kopi depending on where the kopitiam is.

I got a torque wrench for the installation. sly.gif

Did the workshop changed it while the engine is hot after you arrived? If they did, the old plugs must be toasty!

Thanks Bro...me a bit impatient that day la...wearing office long sleeve shirt, so just go to petrol kiosk lor....in the end kena cut throat. Some more the mechanic got the cheek to tell me that Shell sells that for $100 when I just told him I got it for 63.

Yeah, he change it when the engine was hot....bloody mechanic just throw it on the floor after taking the old ones out...never even ask me if I want it back....what kind of service man.

The old ones still look pretty good.....but after he just throw down from the engine to the floor, I dun wan the old one liow...

Next time if got time must ask u out la.....at least the torque wrench better. If not everytime they bull strength turn that wrench, sure die.

Just my input. If they change your plug when the engine is very hot and over tighten it. You will be in for trouble the next time you try to change the plug.

Yup! Singapore $.

Can't tell you abt HKS, never use before.

Used Denso before and the response is abt the same as volker. Volker has very little advertising and maybe hence it is cheaper although it is german quality.

I am not against denso, Starry - pls don't misunderstand. [:/]

Just that there is comparison they have of denso vs volker in their shop and the arcing is more consistent than even denso. 160K life is also longer than denso's 70K or so.

Anyway, I only have it on for 1 1/2 weeks and still have not see the best effect yet but the initial results are better firing while driving, better response for pickup, smoother idling in the morning and abt 5% improvement in fuel consumption.

Sorry, Room - mine is aveo 1.4A. Using Volker Iridium Part no.6ZX-11

You can look into the back pages of yr Optra manual and look for yr plug number (either ngk or champion brands' number), then cross reference at the volker site for their equivalent.

That's how I know they recommended me the right one.

Hi Starry, hope yr denso will give you lots of satisfaction too. Sorry to hijack yr thread, man.. paiseh..
