Any clubbers in SkodaSG? [wave][wave][wave]

I don't club anymore.... due to old age [laugh]

Perhaps other activities will entice me [laugh]

Hi Guys!

It was nice meeting all you guys yesterday. Had great time and we should do this often I suggest. Also, let's plan some driving trips to nearby places. Like a weekend get away would be nice with families, GFs, Fiances OR just play cheonging *single* cool.gif

Btw, I was the one in Black Skoda Octy with the Body Kit for those of you guys wondering who am I smile.gif

Hope all of you had fun yesterday and wish to see you guys again soon.

Cheers!

Kev

Hi Octy,

No worries, you're most welcome!

Have guys heard of UniChip from Dastek? or Power Box from Power System? Maybe I can help you guys to get some boost with these.

Cheers!

Kev

Hi Guys,

Are you guys interested in piggy-backs?

There are 2 piggy-backs available. 1 which you can program the chip and the other which is fixed. The later is more like an adapter than a real piggy-back but bound to increase you to about 10~20 Bhp and will cost you very less than the first. Usually a programmable piggy-back will range from like S$ 600~1000 and could give you about 20~30 Bhp more and added torque.

With the piggy-back, if you do an engine porting with a clean cut & polished head, you could expect to get more power. Also, you could use a air/fuel mix controller like what I have to put some boost into your baby.

I think that's the furthest you can push the car to in terms of stock condition upgrades and street driving. If you really keen in giving a run to everyone and has the funds to back you up, you could go in for exhaust mods, reduce your clutch weight or even put in a competition clutch, put in a close ratio competition grade gear-box, etc which are available for our little Octys. [drivingcar]

Maybe we could get together some time, have a brain-storming session on the mods [scholar]

Cheers!

Kevin

Hi Kev

If the programmable costs $600-$1000, how much will the fixed cost?

Will be happy to brainstorm but me not technical leh.

Cheers

I'm waiting for the new pricing of the fixed unit. The last time it was a couple of hundreds only. If I'm not mistaken, the unit cost was like S$100+. This is a common unit which fits all EFI cars.

You don't need to be technical bro [cool]
