I heard in the past that during run-in the car should not go more than 80km/hr. Is this true? What is the run-in period for the airwave? Ngempire 2nd Gear July 28, 2006 Share July 28, 2006 Agree with Biccat, at 50%/50% for this FC is consider good liao. I did not do any mod.. same as u, stock 14 rim. I'm light footer too.. but some time travel >100kph at HW and at less traffic area, will travel 70-80kph.. If the area got a lot of traffic light, i'll normally travel very slow (to avoid start stop). Also try to predict the traffic light.. if u think cant make it.. just slow down.. no pt drepessing so hard on the acc paddle and end up u need to jam brake.. keep braking and heavy braking consume a lot of petrol. I think the most important factor for my FC is becoz i normally dun ON Air Con (unless weather very hot or at normal rd or raining day). Normally i warm up my car early of the day, and at every move off, i dun depress acc.. i let it move by itself (most up to 100-200m) until i feel the engine really pick up. I'm ordering a storm silver airwave and would like to choose different combination of colours for the interior. BUt my agent told me only dark exterior colour eg. black, red etc could have different combination of black and bright titantium. For storm silver the colour is fixed.Is this true? Ngempire 2nd Gear July 29, 2006 Share July 29, 2006 (edited) For exterior, check for any paint scratches or sticker stain or dirty which u think u cant remove (especially the joining of 2 part). Check also the rubber sealing on window. For interior, check for any loss part.. (the time i collect my car, i found the lever at the car boot was dislodge) and any missing part or things which u can see.. M... but I know of a few happy owners who booked their rides with it, including myself. Even cars booked from Agent Distributors also encountered bad experience also. I saw on the Japan Airwave site, the back seat covers cost abt 300bucks after converting from Jap Yen. Anyone can share any such product available in sg? Went down yesterday to "confront" my SE, asked him to confirm my delivery black and white, told me will fax me the document today, till now still waiting... then he told me most of his customers requested for delayed delivery becos of hungry ghost month, even showed me others contracts.. I saw got one booked on 17 May, and his delivery date 22 Sept... My SE even asked me whether I got any car plate number in mind, first digit only, he can help me find, I told him don't need, I don't want any further delay if he has to wait for my desired number to come out...
