Why more people are renewing COE?

F10 is 2.5L. Road tax for coe car will be quite chor.
  3. Totally agree. No point driving an uninspiring drive if it's going to be your ride for a while.
  4. I just made LTA richer by $35.4k today.
  5. Hi, I see what you're saying and I agree with it. Charts are the footprints of smart money. Do you have the chart of the COE plotted with macd and moving averages? 20 and 50. Tks

    COE renewal question

Yes we will see a lot of Mercedes c class kompressors running around our roads in the next 10 years.

    COE renewal question

In 2015, pap had landslide victory and COE was shit high above 70k. I agree with all your points and I’ll be renewing this month too. I think many will be renewing including car dealers hoping to sell the cars at a higher price later. My coe expires Feb 2010. If coe really cui to $1 due to black swan event, I’ll deregister and get back the parf and more than 90% of the unused PQP to buy a new car. COE renewal question

Thanks. My original COE expiry is Feb 2010. So just to confirm, if I renew the COE today (21 April), the new COE expiry will follow the month end which is 30 April and hence the new expiry date is 30 April 2029.

    COE renewal question

Hi, I intend to renew the coe for this month's PQP. Does it matter which day of the month I renew? If I renew on the 30 April this month, does it mean that I'll have another 10 years from 30th April? So my COE expiry will now be 29 april 2029? can anyone confirm? Or it doesn't matter whether I renew today or last day of the month?
  10. This rush of COE renewals for this PQP will only cause the future supply to shrink, which will in turn fuel further COE price increases. Looks like famine season is coming.
  11. Thanks all for your views. Much appreciated. I’ll likely take the plunge and renew my Audi A5. Love the ride too much to let it go. It’s a perfect balance of sportiness and luxury (at least to me), even if it means setting aside a bit for wear and tear maintenance. And yes the Quattro - love the ride handling. I’m able to corner at 120-130kmh and the car feels planted on the road. No way I can get that with fwd car.
  12. Would like to get some forummer advice here - I have an Audi A5. Lovely ride. But coe expires Feb 2010. I’d like to renew the coe but seems that it’s on uptrend. The current pqp for April is 35k. If I renew by end April, I’ll secure 35k renewal but I’ll lose 9 months of existing coe. The OMV is 47k. What do you all think? Renew now or wait until next year and bet the poor economy will bring coe down?

    3M solar film - sucks

I'm the threadstarter and I have ripped out the 3M and installed another solar film. Result is way better. The car heats up slower than the 3M. Infra-red rejection is the key. When choosing solar film, always ask about that.
  14. Sound quite bad. Was it on CTE going into the tunnel too?
