according to the video and and the acticle Nissan's Active Engine Brake is a technology that adjusts the amount of engine braking depending on driving conditions. The system monitors vehicle speed along with steering and braking inputs. When the brakes are applied the system automatically adjusts the ratio of the continuously variable transmission (or CVT) to add a small amount of engine braking to assist the brakes and decrease the time and effort required to slow the vehicle down. Additionally, the Active Engine Brake system can adjust the CVT ratio to help the car brake more smoothly. The system also adds engine braking when cornering if the vehicle is going faster than the target speed for the specific steering trajectory, helping reduce the number of necessary driver inputs. hard braking should be abs and hard corner is traction control

had drove for about 30km after that, and another 40km at night , i suppose should be charge up already right ya.. the start stop was left 'on' but its not activated. . did they just disable the function ? what happen to those who wants this function then ? could be.. cos the nissan active engine brake supposedly enhance the braking distance i was also looking for it in the setting but couldn't find it..

i just went for software update.. 1) braking seems to be much better 2) start/stop is gone.. and i mean even when i tried to step harder on the brake.. it doesn't activate.. not that its a bad thing tho 3) not much different on pick up. the slight jerk at 60km still there. couldn't be bother with it overall it just felt like they pump more air to the tyre. something i have to mention here. the mech don't even know there's a engine brake and traction control check box . . . i am lost for words... i've realised driving qq or rather conti like car. i have to slight release the gas pedal whenever gear change to ensure smoother ride. unlike all my previous japanese/korea cars.. just step constant and it does the rest. according to a merc owner, he does that too..

i've got my front bumper grill installed .. then i started to notice that newer cars.. like the new chevy cruz too.. factory bumper without grill.. and one of my friend droves a sirroco , took out his bumper grill and swap for a non grill bumper. is this like new trend or is it for better airflow?
  7. aiyo... why the tp overtake like that.. dangerous leh

manual gear has 7th gear also.. just that to shift up you need to attain the required speed, for gear 7th i think should be after 80km/h

for those who experienced power loss.. turbo lag, to better enjoy the ride maybe you can try shift to manual.. the power delivery will be much linear and better anticipated. i had been doing that and enjoy the ride much more than putting it at auto. but i do have a question.. do i need to release the gas pedal whenever i change gear? i tried both.. seems like constant foot pressure more smooth
  14. how it works.. 1) put a speedcam in that area 2) cars slow down due to speed cam 3)survey and found that that area always congested 4) deploy ERP to ease congestion 5)$$$$$
