  1. What could be the problem when the recirculation mode is not working? I set the recirculation mode to ON but I still can smell fumes from outside. Is something worn out inside? Anyone has this problem before? As well, part of the dashboard doesn't have any light. Is it difficult to replace the bulb inside the dashboard? Have to dismantle the whole dashboard eh? Thank you.
  2. Hello brothers and sisters, Have you noticed that when your car's aircon recirculation is switched on, the engine performance and response becomes more sluggish as compared to when the aircon recirculation is switched off? I mean, i would switch off the recirculation all the time, if not for the smelly taxi fumes and the reduced cooling ability. So does switching on aircon recirculation use up the engine's power?
  3. Hi all just installed a Simota Carbon charger (i think it's more accurately an enclose cone filter) and i asked the mech abt this tube leading from the engine block to the air intake just before the throttle body i believe tt is the EGR and the mech didn't seem to know the term, but he said tt the exhaust gas is fed into the air intake then and offered to put a "breather" device to vent the EGR gases into the engine compartment. so now i have a micro "open pod" which i think is to filter the exhaust gases being vented into the engine which wud otherwise be fed back into the intake my intake is oily after the EGR inlet, no doubt due to engine oil mist. read somewhere here tt such gases will eventually foul the throttle, and I fully believe so my point is, is the air breather device good? or will it reduce power or spoil the engine in any way? it seems counter-intuitive to pump hot exhaust gases back into the engine. i'm not too concerned if my emissions increases by a bit because of this mod hope i'm not too long-winded. dun have a camera (believe it or not) but i'll try to take some pix when i get hold of my gf's N70
