  1. In tonight's game between Liverpool and Sunderland, I witnessed some poor refereeing, do you guys agree? The referee at the centre of attention is Stuart Attwell who was the referee that allowed the infamous "ghost" goal during a Championship match between Reading and Watford in 2008.. Why should Liverpool first goal be allowed? It was a legitimate goal if you see it strictly based on the rules of the game, but shouldn't the referee exercise some common sense in this case? Any goon can see Michael Turner is not passing the ball back to Simon Mignolet.. Turner had wanted the keeper to take the freekick.. The question is should the referee stop play or allowed play to continue? He did not seem sure as he consulted his linesman even after already awarding the goal.. And should Torres have stopped play even after the referee waved play on in the spirit of fair play? I guess for a team desperate to win, it was not surprising he took the easier option to score a cheap goal.. Another talking point in the 2nd half was when Skrtel collided with Carragher, was he supposed to wave the 2 players out to receive medical attention outside the pitch and allow play to continue? I certainly think he should have done dat.. Why was there preferential treatment for Liverpool? The whole game was allowed to stop for the few minutes for Skrtel to get his head bandaged up.. If he was gonna take 10 mins, would it be right if the play was stopped for 10 minutes to allow him to get treatment on the pitch? I for one will certainly not be surprised if the referee gets dropped for his next match..
  2. Quite weird.... People pay Sports Channel but didn't get to watch Sunderland - Arsenal game on SCV.... Here is the channel that you can watch for free. http://www.ustream.tv/videoplayerpopup/channel/310753 Another http://www.ustream.tv/videoplayerpopup/channel/43026
  3. Sunderland scored an early goal against Liverpool with the help of a balloon that had strayed onto the pitch. Avilla 2 - Chelsea 1 (FT) Half Time Scores Arsenal 2
  4. What a close shave for Fergie . . . heading for a home defeat when a last minute o.g. rescued them. All thanks to Anton (Rio's brudder?) and Steve? (ex-Man U player). YAY!! YAY!! Without fail once again, teams under ex-Man U players are crap when playing against SAF's team. Way to go, brudders!
