  1. I make this prediction in 2013... Everybody laugh at me.... Malaysia Ringgit will continue to weaken. There is a few reason. 1) Linkages with Crude Oil 2) Linkages to Palm Oil 3) Malaysian Reserve 4) BNM latest move to restrict movement of Ringgit. Btw --- If you observe both Msia and Indonesia are looking ways to raise fund. See how the Indonesian lavish so much when King Salman visit Indonesia recently. Same with Malaysia.

Najib Announce VEP for Spore cars!

I post the report hah since people lazy to click the link.... 1) VEP postpone again. (Don't asked me until when.....) 2) VEP hasn't started. For those who frequent JB like me.... Yes u need to tap twice... Once for T n G and the other for the RC so that the gantry open. Sometimes u just need to tap once, sometimes twice.... U know Msia lah... Semua Boleh... SEGAMAT: The Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration Quarantine (CIQ) Complex infrastructure at the Causeway has forced the Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) implementation to be further pushed back due to technical issues. Johor Public Works, Rural and Regional Development executive committee chairman Datuk Hasni Mohammad said the system that was agreed upon earlier, had to be upgraded to accommodate the CIQ for the convenience of the users. This was due to the CIQ infrastructure, which made it difficult for the system to be put in place there, he added. He said the CIQ could not accommodate the existing system, which had already been put in place at Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar near the Second Link in Tanjung Kupang, Gelang Patah. “Although the system at Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar is ready, we cannot have one entry point that charges (the VEP) and the other not charging. “We want everything to be ready and start together,” he said. He was asked to comment on the VEP after attending a ground-breaking ceremony for a RM4mil project to upgrade the Felda Kemelah intersection here on Sunday. He added that all efforts and focus are being given to the CIQ now to hasten the process and ensure that the upgraded system fits the infrastructure. The VEP, which was activated on June 1, has been running on a trial period that was supposed to end on July 15. Hasni said the charge had been decided at RM20 for each foreign-registered vehicle that enters Malaysia through Johor, all year long regardless of public holidays or weekends. This was unlike Singapore’s VEP, which gives foreign vehicles exemption from 5pm to 2am on weekdays, weekends as well as the island republic’s public holidays. He added that Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, who visited Johor late last month, said to give the ministry another two more months to do the necessary upgrade and synchronise the systems before implementation. Hasni also said that some 230,000 owners of Singapore vehicles have registered for the system to date.

Najib Announce VEP for Spore cars!

Date change to June now : JOHOR BARU: The Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP), which is now in the testing stage, is expected to be implemented by June. The infrastructure for the project is being tested at both the Causeway and the Second Link, said state Public Works, Rural and Regional Development Committee chairman Datuk Hasni Mohammad. So far, at least 120,000 owners of Singaporean vehicles have registered. “However, we have yet to issue the smartcode radio frequency identification (RFID) tags,” he said, adding that they were still ironing out glitches. The authorities, Hasni said, would now need to finalise how to distribute the RFID tags to vehicle owners. He added that each vehicle lane at the checkpoints was equipped with cameras and sensors to identify vehicle number plates and RFID tags. Hasni said the gantry at the checkpoints would not open if the RFID did not match the car number plate. This will prevent tampering or people using the RFID on other vehicles to enter Malaysia. Hasni said the RM20 fee for each trip could be paid via Touch n’ Go. He added that the state hoped the project would proceed as planned and there would be no more delays. A portion of the VEP would be given to the state government for road maintenance. Asked about Malaysians owning Singapore-registered cars, he said anyone driving vehicles with Singapore number plates would be charged the VEP on the Malaysian side. “We also do not offer special discounts like Singapore, which allows a certain amount of free travel per year or no charges during or after certain times of the day or on weekends,” he said. It is learnt that many Malaysians working in the island drive Singapore-registered cars to avoid paying the S$35 (RM105) VEP per day there. In Singapore, each foreign car is given 10 free days. There are also no charges during the weekends.VEP is also exempted between 5pm and 2am, Monday to Friday. Motorcyclists are charged S$4 (RM12).

Translate for u David Ong is involved in an affair with a member of PAP Women's Wing MP of Bukit Batok SMC who has suddenly resigned today citing "Personal Reasons" to PM Lee as well as resigning from the PAP, was involved in an extra Marital affair. According to sources, David Ong was having an affair with a member of the PAP Bukit Batok Women's Wing Ms Wendy Lim (41, works in Logistics). Ms Lim has frequently uploaded many photos showing her involvement in grassroots activities in Bukit Batok and these include photos taken with David Ong. Ms Lim is a very active member of the PAP. During GE 2015, Ms Lim, along with other supporters, had created placards with caricatures of David Ong. On Nomination Day, they were in attendance with the placards and had taken photos together. As of 1830 last night, the photos with David Ong were still publicly available on Ms Lim's FaceBook profile. It has since been changed to private. Attempts by the reporters to contact Ms Lim via her mobile phone went unanswered. Zaobao has also tried to visit Ms Lim at her condominium in the west but have not been able to get in touch with her. David Ong has 3 children. Zaobao has tried to contact him but he has only replied queries via email. He has admitted that it was his personal indiscretion and that he deeply regrets his actions.
