  2. Hi bro's, Got a question abt the 1.8t with auto tranny. I found when I test drive the superb, the lag from the time you step the pedal to the time the car moves is kinda long compared with other auto's. Also at traffic lights when you release the brakes on a flat road, the car does not move as eagerly as other auto cars. Is it cos of the turbo-lag (heard it starts at 1700 rpm), and a normal 1.8 pushing 1.5 tons? I would love to try the manual version, but dun think it's a really suitable tranny for SG. Did the jervious road run with my dad (he was also there with me when we test drove the octy). Not used to long wheelbase man. Not as easy to control the car around the tight bends as easily the octy. Is the suspension too soft for the stock model? But love the leg room and rear aircon. Not to mention the handles to hang plastic bags in the boot. Nonetheless, if i weren't in SG, I'll probably go for the higher cc, (maybe TDI) elegance model, minus the stupid leg-rest (dun plan to be a driver for the rest of the family and smell thier feet as well) and the non-essential fridge . I love the car.
