STOMPer JT witnessed the accident and said that the driver had been recklessly racing with the driver of an Audi A4 before the collision occurred. In the STOMPer's email, the STOMPer wrote: "Two cars, a gray Nissan Skyline GT and a silver Audi A4 were racing and went really fast and reckless. They were changing lanes, from the first lane to the third lane and back again. "I spotted them from Parliament Place towards St Andrew Road and then to Beach Road. "The Nissan Skyline GT hit a woman. The silver Audi A4, which was also racing down the road, fled shortly after the accident. "The driver of the Nissan Skyline, young man alighted, the vehicle and tried to help but the situation looked very serious. "The woman who was hit, was not moving at all." STOMP contacted the Police and a spokesman said: "Police received a call today at about 4:40pm, about the accident along Beach Road towards Middle Road. "A Chinese woman in her late fifties suffered head injuries and was conveyed toSingapore General Hospital. "The driver was unhurt and is assisting with investigations. "Police investigations are on-going."
