If you think that the recently launched Hyundai I40 is not curvy enough, dont despair.According to a recent report, Hyundai will introduce an i40 four-door coupe in 2012.

Details of the new sedan are limited at the moment but an Auto Express source has revealed the car will be based on the stunning iFlow HED-7 concept. It will compete with the Volkswagen CC but priced more competitively.

Engine options are expected to include a 1.7-liter diesel generating either 115 hp or 140 hp. Petrol options shall include a 1.6-liter petrol which should be benefit from direct injection and turbocharging. They will be connected to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

I have been a car fanatic since 1989, when my father was changing our family car then to a Toyota Corolla 1.6 GL fitted with a Twin Cam 16 valve engine that was carburetor-fed, a big deal back in those days. The automobile technology and industry fascinates me and I hope to broadcast these interesting developments to everyone out there through this blog.

I feel this is even more over-styled than the 145. The rear of this 140 concept looks like it is melting.

If they keeps the same design as iFlow for 1.6L, then atleast it can produce 140bhp if not such a big heavy car goes up slope also got problems.
