BMW has finally released details of the X4. But while pictures of it have surfaced, those who wish to get up close and personal will have to wait till end of next month, when the car will make its public debut at the New York Auto Show.

It is not hard to see why BMW terms it 'Sports Activity Coupe' or SAC. The X4, in essence, is a slantback X3. The X4 also shares its technical blueprint with its 'smaller' brother.

Dimensionally, the X4 will be 14mm longer and sits 37mm closer to the ground than the X3.

BMW claims that the X4 will also have a more sporty suspension. All variants will come standard with xDrive - the marque's intelligent all-wheel drive system.

Powertrain wise, the X4 will receive a host of engine options - up to three petrol and three diesel variants. The top-of-line xDrive35i will have a 3.0-litre in-line six engine capable of 300bhp and 400Nm of torque.

The X4 will also boasts decent utility - with a 500 litres boot that can be further expandable to 1,400 litres.

How does BMW fit all these different models into the same showroom/dealer? Given there are models within models, luxury, sport, m-sport trims within those models and to add the endless amount of options.

At the moment, I can't think of a brand with a more complicated line-up.

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. If one didn't know better, you'd think it was the dream destination on this planet. While I love the food, the service and the shopping, the sheer number of tourists (me included) has become a turn-off. I'm not talking about those who inconven

The fun in collecting postcards without (really ever) sending them

I believe I may not be alone when I say that I’m quite the avid collector of postcards, but rarely ever send them out to family or friends. To some, this might seem counterintuitive, even wasteful. But for me, these miniature works of art serve a different purpose. They're windows into distant lands; time capsules of bygone eras; and conversation starters par excellence. In fact, in a city as fast-paced as Singapore, where our lives often revolve around our vehicles and the next destination

Rock and Roll: The Sonic Balm for Your Weary Soul

Alright, I've stumbled upon the ultimate cure for your existential woes - Rock and roll. That's right, this sonic elixir is the balm your weary spirit's been craving. Forget yoga or meditation; all you need is a killer guitar riff and a thumping bassline to transport you to nirvana. It's time to turn that frown upside down and crank up the volume! The Term "Rock and Roll" Ever wondered where the saucy phrase "Rock and roll" came from? Well, back in the 17th century, salty sea dogs used

    Armored MMA

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a brutal sport that, in recent decades, has grown to significant prominence.  Whatever you make of the sport (and the often complicated and sometimes problematic climate that swirls around it), there's no denying its popularity, driven in large part by the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) brand - a multi-billion-dollar global enterprise.  But if partially-clothed men/women beating the s*it out of each other is not quite your thing, may I interest you in
