Ever since the Circuit Breaker measures have kicked in, more people have started working out in the parks as that is one of the few things left that you can do that is not indoors.

Naturally, jogging and cycling in parks is one of the more popular outdoor activities but while we are engaged in such activities, it is best to keep a lookout for your family members.

As seen on Singapore Roads safety/Roads safety.SG facebook page, the camera car was traveling along Yishun Ave 8 on 15th of May 2020 when the driver saw a child straying onto the road with his kick scooter.

According to the Facebook post, the child's parents were not idenitified in the video(might have been the man on the right with a white top). Thankfully for the boy, a passing cyclist managed to the pull the child to safety.

Meanwhile the camera car driver claimed to have swerved into the middle lane while a fast-moving lorry was coming up from behind. Viewers can spot the lorry zooming past the cyclist and the kid in the video.

Naturally, netizens were fast to flame the parents for not caring for the kid. The lorry that zoomed past did not escape the flames too.

  • Far Cry: A journey over two decades (PART TWO)

In case you missed part one, here's the link. Welcome to Part Two of this ongoing series of every Far Cry main game in chronological order. This should be the true Singaporean national dish

Singapore is known to be a melting pot of different cultures, races, people and of course, cuisines from all over the world. You can probably find food from most places here in Singapore, but we also have some dishes that we like to think of as our national dish - okay, google says there isn't an officially declared national dish, but Chicken Rice is one of those that's often mentioned. Yes, we all love Chicken Rice, but it isn't really unique to Singapore.... Nasi Lem

    More aliens on Earth?

"Scientists Just Discovered a Creature That Breaks the Rules of Life". I mean, that's quite the headline.  Sukunaarchaeum mirabile is also quite the name to pronounce. But yes, that's the name of a recently discovered organism that apparently challenges the traditional scientific definition of 'life'.  There's a fair bit of scientific jargon to sieve through, but the quick summary is this: Cells are considered "alive" because of their ability to self-replicate and reproduce, whereas vi

How are we already in June?

During lunch with my mother a couple of weeks back over yong tau foo, I was asked about my opinion on the latest NDP song. And of course, as expected of any chronically insular millennial, my reaction was: “Huh? There’s a new NDP song?” But of course there is. And I say this not to disparage the wonderful songwriters and musicians that provide an anthem to remember the nation’s birthday by annually, but to knock into my own mind the harsh reality: We’re already in mid-June.  It fe
