Last weekend saw the tragic accident of a BMW driver who was flung out of his E92 3 Series convertible along PIE. Condolences to the poor soul who did not survive the crash.

Last weekend also saw the not-so-tragic accident of two Lamborghini Aventadors crashing into each other along Sembawang Road on 7 June.

The photos of the 2 lamborghinis which crashed into each other went viral among local car clubs with SG Road Vigilante further furnishing us with the video shown here.

According to the SGRV's post, the owners of the Aventadors removed their number plates promptly after the accident but its members could spot the similar black bonnet, black strip , white brake caliper and etc. that was similar to another yellow Lamborghini Aventador which was caught driving recklessly at Newton.

Check out what netizens have to say about this double crash!

Is this a case of 'you get what you deserve'? Or do you guys think the crash is a loss to our local car scene?

Non stop revving at idle. Thank you for your contribution towards nation building (petrol excise duty).  😁

This is what you shouldn't do in a Lamborghini while at idle in neutral. It may lead to  a fiery aftermath. 😁

I've been asked by another driver to rev my car at a stoplight in crowded traffic. I politely declined with a smile (took care not to give offence).

It's just not the done thing unless you're in a group of like-minded people and away from the general public.

  • Manchester United's "promising" transfer window should be taken with a pinch of salt

Having followed this club for more than 20 years, I'm well aware that a promising transfer window does not directly equate to an improved season. Forwards Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, as well as Diego Leon, the young Paraguayan wing-back, have been Manchester United's signings for the 2025 summer transfer window so far. On paper, this team should have no problem challenging for silverware. On the pitch, the current crop of players finished 15th last season. While both Cunha and Mbeumo ha

Cordless vacuum cleaners: A young adult's best friend?

Every young adult probably arrives at the same point when they’ve started working for a few years: Household chores start to become more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong – they don’t have to be one’s favourite activity on earth. But chores start to make sense: An environment that’s put-together is always a welcome haven, whether it’s returning home after a long day out, or simply staying in over the weekend (or when you’re working from home.) As a young adult myself, I've come to appreciate an

The enduring charm of Singapore wet markets

I know I’m idealising it all - as a not-so-young millennial that can’t remember the last time he cooked a full meal for himself. (That was probably a good two years ago.) But moving on slightly from morning walks now, the space I’ve found myself frequenting when I feel like I need a break from the routines of everyday life (or to simply clear my head) isn’t the park. It’s the basement level of Punggol Plaza. That a wet market even exists here should be surprising. Punggol, after all, is qui

Godzilla Minus One: Surprisingly emotional and poignant

When one thinks of Godzilla movies, one imagines an oversized amphibious dinosaur generating a terrifying heat ray from its mouth and fighting with other oversized monsters. Meh, nothing special, right? Wrong. Here’s why Godzilla Minus One should be an action movie you should definitely catch. In this version, the timeless clash between monster and man is once again set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-war Japan. But, unlike typical action films that dive headfirst into destruction a
