Legend has it that the reptile has yet to cross the road.

In this video, a stuck lizard tries to cross a busy road.

Terrified by the loud noises and fast vehicles, the reptile pauses in the middle and engages in an intense stare-down with a driver.

Realising that the animal would not move, a bus driver alights from his bus and tries to shoo the lizard away gently.

Noticing the commotion, two cyclists join in by clapping their hands loudly to guide the reptile to a safer spot.

Their efforts prove to be successful as the lizard starts to shuffle slowly to the back of the car.

The bus driver then gets back and slowly drives away, with the poor reptile stuck underneath it.

It is unclear if the driver knew of the animal's presence before driving away.

With the help of the cyclists, the lizard manages to cross the first half of the road.

It then stops at the road divider and seeks solace by climbing up a tree.

The cyclist who posted the video hopes that the animal will be able to cross the second half of the road safely.

What type of lizard is this?

According to a quick Google search, it seems that the lizard in question is, in fact, a green iguana.

Native to Mexico, southern Brazil and Paraguay, the common green iguana has been found in the wild in Singapore and Thailand. The most likely explanation for this is due to the international reptile trade.

These lizards can grow up to 1.7m long and are unsuitable as pets in urbanised high-rise apartments.

  • Godzilla Minus One: Surprisingly emotional and poignant

When one thinks of Godzilla movies, one imagines an oversized amphibious dinosaur generating a terrifying heat ray from its mouth and fighting with other oversized monsters. Meh, nothing special, right? Wrong. Here’s why Godzilla Minus One should be an action movie you should definitely catch. In this version, the timeless clash between monster and man is once again set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-war Japan. But, unlike typical action films that dive headfirst into destruction a

    Ready? Steady? Slow!

Have you ever watched on of those baby crawling races? They are hilarious. I watch a lot of NBA, and sometimes they have these races as a halftime entertainment. And its hilarious because unlike most athletic races, there's an inherent unpredictability and chaos to these things. They get distracted, they get bored, they get tired. Babies doing baby things, you know.  Well, England thinks it can one-up the absurdity of racing: Introducing to you, Snail Racing.  It seems almost

Cordless vacuum cleaners: A young adult's best friend?

Every young adult probably arrives at the same point when they’ve started working for a few years: Household chores start to become more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong – they don’t have to be one’s favourite activity on earth. But chores start to make sense: An environment that’s put-together is always a welcome haven, whether it’s returning home after a long day out, or simply staying in over the weekend (or when you’re working from home.) As a young adult myself, I've come to appreciate an

A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the
