Billy77 Clutched August 29, 2005 Author Share August 29, 2005 I agree that the changes are very subtle. Anyway, it's just a facelift. Got these info from a PI, the changes include: 1. New projector headlamps 2. New bumper design 3. New LED combination tail lamps 4. New wiper blade protection cover 5. New seat fabric design 6. New LED interior roof light 7. New colours x 3: Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic & Dark Blue Mica. Dark Grey remains, but light blue and pearl white removed 8. 75% fuel consumption rate pass (4 stars) - whatever that means

Billy77 Clutched September 5, 2005 Author Share September 5, 2005 The new 2006 F/L Totoya Wish is launched on 5/9/2005! For those who have already booked (or going to book) the F/L model, you may want to check out http://toyota.jp/wish/ for more details. Sony 1st Gear September 5, 2005 Share September 5, 2005 Not too bad leh. Will the one from PIs be the same as those on the picture, eg. controls on steering wheel and integrated sound system? How much for the F/L? Still $74K
Billy77 Clutched September 6, 2005 Author Share September 6, 2005 (edited) Obviously you will not get those. PI only brings in the basic XE model. The trim will be similar to the Wish you see on the roads now, with the changes I highlighted in the previous posts. Other minor changes include the dash board design and the sequential shift gear control. Edited September 6, 2005 by Billy77
Accent03 Neutral Newbie September 6, 2005 Share September 6, 2005 Hi there Billy 77, do you know where we can view this model? Is the rumours about the 2L wish true cause this is just face lifted?
Billy77 Clutched September 6, 2005 Author Share September 6, 2005 I checked with PI Pinnacles two weeks ago. The earliest they reckoned for the F/L Wish getting to S'pore would be late Oct 05. Btw, what about the 2L?
Accent03 Neutral Newbie September 6, 2005 Share September 6, 2005 There is talk within circle of friends about d 2L wish. Dunno coming to our shores or not. When ask pinnacle, hup long, mova, all said dunno. Maybe they trying to clear stock or....
Billy77 Clutched September 6, 2005 Author Share September 6, 2005 Didn't know that. It's going to be expensive. Might not be logical for PI to bring in. Btw, earlier this year, there was a rumour that Borneo may bring in the Thai-made Wish by end of the year. Unitil now, no one can verify this. Sony 1st Gear September 7, 2005 Share September 7, 2005 Sian liao lar... But then, that's the reason why it's much cheaper compared to Mazda5 that have all the bell and whistles.
Billy77 Clutched October 1, 2005 Author Share October 1, 2005 Went to Frankel Motors this afternoon. There was a metalic grey F/L Wish (basic XE model) on display. It is similar to the one in the attached pix. The projector headlamp comes with a level control switch (next to side mirrors control switches) which you can use to control the headlamp shining upwards or downwards. I also checked with other PIs, and it seems like only Frankel Motors has the car on display now. Anyone knows if this type of control is standard feature or is it an option?
