Neutral Newbie

S,

Typically most insurance policies does allow for at least one change of windscreen per year. At most after that, they ins company will ask for a small reinstatement fee. Go consult your ins company. Its always better to have it changed. If they ask why, just ask the installer to submit a report to indicate that you hit a stone whilst travelling on some expressway ......

I changes mine last month FOC after a stone hit my front screen. FOC. The best thing is - my insurer provide unlimited (any screen plus windows) change per year. No joke.

I think this is really one of its kind!

So which insurance company is that?

Small chip they also change?

If the glass is UV treated, will they use back the orginal or the normal glass?

Cheers...

AXA, It gives me a price that not even my car agent's insurer can meet, and still a far cry from their price.

As far as im concern, my chip is only 50cts big, they suggest i chg the whole screen. They did ask how big was my chip coz if its reali small chip ( no crack), they will send a repair man down to my carpark and repair FOC plurs remunerate me with 80 dollars still. I was surprise when they told me so. They said they are quite easy on windcreen hence the remuneration. WHere locally can get such deal??

However, Vkool not covered under insurance. What ever your cars come original with, they will pay the your car agent repair center wat ever the cost incurred. For mine, Windscreen tan chong charge them for $750 parts and labour!

One bad point abt AXA, they are very SLOW in processing your request. So, must be very proactive in pushing them for various paper work.

Im speaking from true experience. Dosent mean to promote or demote any coy or person from the above.

Cheerios.
