It is closed because of the SAF Ferry Terminal and the CAHFI Jetty. If some bozo packed a car full C4 and drove into the Ferry Terminal, our poor recruits will face an even bigger nightmare! Strange enough, the park connector that connects Ferry Beach to Point Beach passes by the Ferry Terminal. Poor sods waiting to board the ferry see joggers and cyclists going by sure feel very demoralized. More so if it is some chio female jogger/cyclist/blader.

The places accessible are already marked on the map. I have been there and verified the places.

 

Bad thing about it even though it is pretty empty is the lack of bicycle rental. To go there, you have to bring your own gear. Camping is pretty much a good affair there. Not as crowded as the ECP.

 

I didn't highlight Changi Village. The food there is great and not so astronomically priced as the ECP food court. Charlie's Corner is great for burgers, fries and beer.

 

Forgot, there is lots of construction on the bridge to CV. The new jetty is being improved. They are now pile driving. Soon, the place will be busy with ferries going to Ubin. Tekong if you really care for poor sods.

Soon it will not be a big secret, we got Chinooks flying in Woodlands. F16s taking off and landing can be seen in the KJE. This island is pretty small to hide a "BIG SECRET". That doesn't mean we can post ICT training pictures w/o being permission from CO.
