... at least according to CAR magazine. In the October issue, the Mazda was up against the Zafira 2.2, Grand Scenic 2.0 and Corolla Verso 1.8 (an MPV version of the Rolla that we don't get here). Here's a summary of what they said:

Vauxhall (Opel) Zafira - "The A-pillar... is capable of hiding a car from view. But the erogonomics are miles better than the Astra's, as everything is now higher up the dashboard.

"The third row of seats is surprisingly usable, even for adults. It handles tidily, with little roll and plenty of grip. The 2.2 is torquey and refined, but fuel consumption isn't great."

Renault Grand Sccenic - "The cabin is wonderfully airy next to the others, with excellent visibility and numerous clever touches. But... the Grand Scenic is smaller inside than its rivals. Removing (the middle row of seats) leaves an uneven floor, but the boot is big.

"You like driving? Might want to give this one a wide miss. The chassis manages to be both soft and rattly, combining the worst of both worlds."

Toyota Corolla Verso - "It probably won't break down, if that counts, and the hi-fi is surprisingly good. The cabin is well screwed together, and the materials of good quality.

"The third row is not that great... you feel you're travelling third class. The boot space is well down on the rest. It's a decent A-to-B machine, rides bumps well, and the steering is accurate and well weighted."

Mazda 5 - "Its twin sliding doors are really rather useful. The middle row folds into all sorts of clever shapes. Two things irk. One is the mard and shiny plastic in the cabin, the other is that the 5 sounds cheap. The third row seats are a good size and easily accessed.

"The quick witted steering suggests agility, (the chassis) confirms it. MPVs aren't meant to be this much fun."

Um, the front looks better with lighter colours, but the rear better with darker colours. So how? dizzy.gif

hehe...come, come. thumbsup.gif

i prefer darker colours as a whole but reckon the aerokit stands out a wee bit better in a lighter shade.

To me... all kits look better in lighter colours... at least you can make out the design/shape from far....

My friend's black ride...with full kit... I can only appreciate really close up [laugh]
