Bluemice 2nd Gear December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 hi all, just got mine "floor" done up. Here:
Ravinged 5th Gear December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 Swee! I particularly like cars which a dark base colour and a standardised add-on to it. You just have that factor that I like. Can't understand how some drivers can have a mix of so many different colours and it looks really messy. Ed
Kaer Neutral Newbie December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 Woah... nice does those lights have switches or they come out when the door is opened?
Bluemice 2nd Gear December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 10Q 10Q ... the floor mat is actually not doing the leds enuf justice... as mine is the 3M red, which is slightly darker... if u use the "OEM" version. its even redder... if u notice my dash "lights" not as red, as its still the old gen blub type instead of the "new" red led version mice
Bluemice 2nd Gear December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 this is diy-ed by a free lance fella. mine is done up with the headlights, ie hd light / parking light ON = floor ON, and comes with a separate "OFF" sw. for those ants moments it can be also be linked to the door as well. mice
Ravinged 5th Gear December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 To my opinion it's good enough. Do you have the free lance person contact btw? How is his wiring? I am a sucker for wiring to be done up nicely. I am interested in doing up mine too. A tinted light when the doors are close, so there is light but a really dim one. A second light which is not tinted is linked directly to door, so when door opens, the floorboard lightens up.
Bluemice 2nd Gear December 8, 2005 Share December 8, 2005 10Q... i m now aiming for the keyring light to be done up.... need to tok to another pal doing it... no prob to share share... but not sure if he does ur rides... maybe those interested can PM or post here ur ride, then i chk out , before arranging a see-the-X-mas-tree-car of the free-lance-er. for this, the leds are actually housed in a clear tube, and two leds per side( i tink can go more, if needed). wiringa were done done offsite, then come n install at car. all using connectors. mice

Xiaogary Neutral Newbie December 12, 2005 Share December 12, 2005 how come he connect it such that its on when Headlight is on, then its very waste of battery everytime want to on it. As headlight is one of the most power consuming device. I connect mine such that it can be on/off as long as ignition is turned on, dont need to start engine. Then can on when I idling blast ICE or at carpark drop something to search on the carpet without turning on headlight. see here with my diy pictures, those interested can try. http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/Aftermarke...Light_P1124442/
Bluemice 2nd Gear December 12, 2005 Share December 12, 2005 bro, he gave a few options, i just decide. usually he reco to do with the door. also there is a bypass sw to "off" it, if i dun wan the lights. for myself, its more for the looks, dun tink will ever use the leds as a means to find things. somemore day time ON cant see much, so nite time = headlights ON liao... as for the ICE, i try not to ICE using batt, engine betta... just my preference... mice
Xiaogary Neutral Newbie December 12, 2005 Share December 12, 2005 Can take picture of the LED, I interested to look at it. I mean take picture of the thing under the dashboard.
