if the swirl marks r very deep, there's very little u can do with ur hands....i suggest u take it to the groomer to let them remove the swirls n watermarks....i have a few fine lines on my ride n i need to polish a few times with the AIO to clear it [dizzy]

To remove the swirl marks, we hav to "eat" into the car clear coat right? so that means that the clear coat will be much thinner after the treatment.

 

Is that a guide line how many times can the car be send to a groomer using a machine to remove the swirl marks till the clear coat is completely removed?

That depand on whether it is a chemical cleaner or it contains abbrasive cleaner. Even if it is an abbrasive cleaner, the cutting a also very negligible, nothing to worry about [;)] .

That's a good link bro Clubace has attached and if using a cutting foam pad with a compound on a rotary does not show any difference by a paint thickness guage, there is really nothing you need to worry with a paint cleaner by hand.
