speaking bout acceleration timings...

 

anyone wanna post their actual tried timings of swifties? either with passenger timer or turbo timer or handheld stopwatch.. plus shift points and fuel + weight minused.

 

mine quite jia lat.. 16.6sec with esso 98 petrol 1/4 tank. shifted at ard 5500rpm and its without spare tire/tools, but with a 50kg passenger timer.... [shakehead]

Try my MCSP. Gave me lots of practise. Godfinger got freaked out by it.

16sec? tats very slow, not reflective of the specs i wud think. since u mention shifted at 5krpm, i guess u self shifted, so its manual? anyway, i heard jap cars specs for 0-100 timing are usually taken with driver only. the swift on paper is abt 11 sec for the manual. still with additional 50kg, 16 sec is way too slow imo.

maan...i just love it when those valves kicks in...just love it. hmmm...optimal 4-5k u say? i'll give it a try. ive never tried redlining my swifty before... [sly]

i tot the 0-100 timing for the swift '05 was approx 12s?

should be in the manual...

 

anyways, mine's a manual, havent had a chance to time it yet.

any swifty bro's out there wanna meetup and do timings?? [sly]

Something like that. Causeway point freaks people out due to it being a dual carriageway. Off the line, sure langa with someone in the opposite direction. Parkway Parade sees more clipped kerbs than any MSCP.

I scratch my first there. Recently mount the kerb when doing a right too soon when coming down the ramps. Very crowded, so need to squeeze into the right lane while the left lane cars move up the carpark. Only at the low floors are the kerb more rounded.
