Carstyle Neutral Newbie November 12, 2005 Share November 12, 2005 (edited) Varta has a new battery called Asia Dynamic, specifically designed for Asian cars that travel short distances. Could be very suitable for cars in Singapore if available. Edited November 12, 2005 by Carstyle

Genie47 1st Gear November 13, 2005 Share November 13, 2005 OK before anymore people go gah gah over batteries I have this to say. Don't buy the same AH rating. If your car use 55AH rating it doesn't mean it will be just as good. Take into consideration your CCA and your RC. That is Cold Crank Amps and Reserve Capacity respectively. I will use my car as an example. It uses a 55AH battery with 550CCA and a RC of 90. This means my car needs 550CCA minimum. In this type of weather, CCA don't matter but you must meet your car's minimum CCA so I must get a battery with at least 550CCA. RC is a completely different story here. In this weather RC is very important because heat drains batteries so having high RC is better! 90 is already very high for the battery in my car. 100-110 will make any car owner very happy! Mivec9 1st Gear November 14, 2005 Share November 14, 2005 CCa and RC...didnt notice abt this 2...probably will take a look at my current batt
Genie47 1st Gear November 14, 2005 Share November 14, 2005 Go to Varta and use their battery finder. You can get a rough idea what is needed for your car then cross reference it to the battery you want to get.

THREE YEARS!!!!! What brand are u using? I think you should just get it back. 3 years is damn good for ANY battery, esp if it never gives you any trouble. ↡ Advertisement
