I think they are all waiting the final outcome of the 3 way negotiations of JTA-SkodaAuto-CzechAuto.

 

I would have imagined that they have come to a conclusion of what will happen next.

 

My wild guess is that SKODA cannot terminate JTA as they still have a legally binding contract. But obviously, there would be clauses in the agency agreement that says that if JTA did not do so and so, SkodaAuto can do so and so. That means JTA can still save their axx by getting a very powderful investor to ensure that the 50-60 pending orders are delivered and steps taken to ensure the JTA operations will not fall into the same trap as it did previously. Even if that is true, JTA mgt will need to iron out lots of things with the new investor who might in the process of taking over the debts and obligations, own a huge majority of JTA and render the current owners a very minor say if all these went through.

Without the ST, how many pple know the hard time of JTA? This month issue of Wheels Asia still introduce the Skoda and contact is JTA.
