Come on .. have test drove liao, CMI compared to other cars on my list of better makes such as Mz3, Mz6, Ford Focus, Renault Megane .. IMO pay abit more, but at least you get to really enjoy the ride and have more peace of mind .. you obviously have been deprived of some better things in life [shakehead]

One man's meat and is another's poison. Every man have a budget and budgeted to fit. If you have a bigger budget, obviously, you are in the wrong forum and talking about the wrong car.

Yap true, I believe that chevrolet cars aren't that bad, test driven the aveo manual, I sort of like it and intending to get it as my first car.

But if compared to my family car, the renault megane 2 is far superior in terms of handling, comfort, safety & electronics features, looks space etc etc. But hey, the price is almost like 25K difference!

So end of the day - you get wat you pay for.

MZ6? do you know how much MZ6 cost compare to the Optra? Maybe that is your "abit more".......but it is certainly not "abit more" for me.

Newbie, if you are rich where 20K-30K is nothing to you, then please strutt your stuff at the Merc or BMW forum.

BTW, not that I can't afford that Mz6. But I rather put my money in my condo then an expensive car which I will surely lose money and nothing else.

W/o any justification & facts u start sayin the car no good & worse u r here pin pointing @ pple. U did not check out the facts & find out frm the owners 1st b4 u comment here. The way u shoot things off ur mouth already shows u r a CMI person. How CMI the car is oso better than u la [laugh][laugh]

I totally agree with you. There is something call "value for money". Personally I think that a car is a car, nothing more and nothing less. Everyone has their own perception of what is suitable or needed. Pay more for more, but is it worth-it? This is a personal question that only one can answer.

Golem is totally out of his mind by saying that, "you are totally deprived of better things in life". If car is what he thinks he can enjoy, then he is REALLY DEPRIVE OF BETTER THINGS IN LIFE. [hur]

Personally I am driving a VIOS. If I ever reply a question, I will state the pros and cons. Up to the person who asked the question to decide.

Enjoy your day.

One should always strive for the better things in life .. sad to say u seem to be a short-sighted person with little ambitions, sad [shakehead] .. FYI I have the better use of a VW Passat AND the better things in life as well ...

Such comments and reviews will simply serve to let people know where they or rather their cars stand so that when they upgrade they know what their higher targets are ... hopefully you'd understand such simple facts of life i.e. too much contention makes for a life of decadence

Ah .. tokkin abt the Vios, what a joke when I see some wannabe jokers trying to mod up their Vios and strut their stuff as if its some kinda performance car .. daz just a puny entry level budget car that's too simply light to offer any driveability and good handling ... value for money yes, but not a race car like some would kike to make it out to be.

Eh.....little boy with a BIG ego, why don't you put your comments in the relevant forum. If you have the good fortune of owning a VW, good for you and your ego. Bet that you are paying to your eye ball or the money is coming from your parents ! Great ! Enjoy your ride and GOODBYE ! [hur]

think the chevy meetup sure got some optra where can talk about the problems. I myself has very high torelence towards defects and minor bugs, so I was never a good advisor when come to buying cars. But I think optra is a nice car and I also believe buy car must like the car and not just compromise too much due to external factor. Its also not fair to guage a car just by reading forum or listening to 1 handful of friends where a couple of these friends actually hear the bad things from their friends. Compare to the thousands of optra put on the road by SA, how many owner actually are here to properly justified its worth. And I believe the chances of people having problem will voice it in the forum rather than people who are happily driving the car will say it out.

But for your morning startup problem, try to get a 2nd opinion from outside workshop and if anyone can find the problem and solve it, go back and claim from SA since they cannot help you after so long. Prolly its bad assembly somewhere. I think I can understand your fustration, jerking of the car is far worst than some creaking noise that come and go. If really can't work out, then have to source for another ride already else you will always be unhappy.
