I am surprised that there are 39 votes for the CL7R and only 35 votes for the 159.

Seems like the majority prefers:

Raw Power, Honda's IL-4, Speed & High Redline to

5 Stars NCAP ratings, Alfa's IL-4 and handling.

eh you looking for the majority to validate your future decision is it [sly]

honestly, i prefer the looks and the mod potential [sweatdrop] of the CL7R over the 159 [:p] the 159 wagon would be an entirely different story [laugh][laugh]

I love the 93 Combi.... but there are 2 drawbacks for me, (this is just me and may not apply to everyone): [ol] [*]slush box and no special indent for 6 speed manual available unimpressed.gif [*]high mark up by TE on all Saabs sweatdrop.gif[/ol]

Neutral Newbie

agree... Saab & audi markups here are simply ridiculous to say the least..

im sure Saab enthusiasts here are salivating at the prospect of modding the 2.8 turbo in the sportcombi... but its still FWD isnt it?

does TE bring in the 93 sedan wit the same 2.8v6 turbo? i realise it is available in the states..

even wit a slushbox i am impressed wit the modded 95s on how it held its own on the NS highway... but not for long esp since "iron balls" (u kno who) was in the fray!

btw, y is the 159 out of the running for u?

Hi Tron

Yes, the 2.8L V6 is in the Sedan and the Combi. These are badged as Aeros. The former Aeros are now badged as Vectra.

159 is out of the running simply because it will only come in May/June....... Sold my 156 week after CNY and am car-less now. So will probably buy what is currently available.

If AR has a 2.8 V6 in the 159, it would be very tempting. But alas it is a IL-4 2.2 JTS and a 3.2 V6 JTS.

Cheers

i'm sure it has more practical usable space compared to a 156SW [:p] just that i was really bowled over by all the pics etc and when i actually saw one being driven on the road it was like err, hmmm...what was it that excited me in the 1st place?? [laugh][laugh][:p]
