that's the beauty of workshops other than those of authorised dealerships.

u get to watch what they do and learn a lot in the process.

mine, still serviced by the authorised dealer.

yup yup...but there's sacrifice for that.... [:/] i never go back to the authorised workshop after my 3rd free servicing...which means they will ignore any claim that the fault is manufacturer's defect... [furious]

Injector cleaner that you put into the tank is a double edge sword - it can help you clean , it can also chok up your fuel system if your tank is full of sediment and rust.

Phew! Didnt realised that my post of stp injector cleaner lobang at Carrefour can induced such a long discussion!

Anyway, my car is almost a year old, so my fuel shouldn't be so dirty... [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Injector cleaning can be quiet a big subject. Locally very few mechanics have the skill in cleaning and claibrating injectors off and on the engines.

I used the silver bottle of STP injector cleaner. Occasionally, autobac sells at $22.50 as promotional item.

Mainly used it as preventive measures on my Optra every 6 months.

Fuel Filter for our ride is

down under the chassis near

the rear wheels right?

Saw and identified that canister

as the fuel filter as I am getting it

this week to do my DIY change.
