Piertiong Neutral Newbie February 23, 2006 Share February 23, 2006 Paiseh, I tried to search for a topic regarding the above mentioned and I can't find any. Wanted to know whether any shop is able to repair my 4ch amp. It seems there's some connection loose inside. The channel powering the front left tweeter is not working anymore, and the front right tweeter sometimes got sound sometimes don't have sound when going over bumpy roads. Thanks!. ↡ Advertisement

Hyun Neutral Newbie February 24, 2006 Share February 24, 2006 wah how come RCA can spoil ... too old, rusted, oxidised? or damaged physically?
Kwongwing Neutral Newbie February 25, 2006 Share February 25, 2006 Usual manners in which interconnects / RCA cables became "spoilt": 1. oxidation of the connectors 2. breakage of cables internally - usually due to wear n tear from tugging, bending, excessive heat 3. breakage of cables externally due to rough handling, pulling of cables (similar to tugging) usually people when removing cables just pull on the cables, the correct method is to hold the cables at the connector itself and pull/push - possibility of damages is then reduced substantially
Piertiong Neutral Newbie February 25, 2006 Author Share February 25, 2006 it should be due to the connection point is bent 90 degrees. now they fixed gold plated L-shape connector should be no problem. ↡ Advertisement
