Hi guys,

I have been getting from AIG for 3 years. My brother-in-law lang ga the car the before so I guess my NCD is gone. I'm thinking of switching to NTUC which is obviously cheaper, isn't it? but many people say it's not good bla bla bla, I'm thinking of saving 600-700 dollars, its a lot leh... [jawdrop] now paying about close to $1700 [sweatdrop]

If can save, save la, I like to hear your comments.

Thank you very much.

Doubt NTUC is the cheapest, at least not for my case.

PM guyver, somehow he knows the system well and has managed to reduced my premium year after.

My premium was halved from last year by moving from comprehensive to 3rd party fire and theft.

Other forumers shall have good remarks about Guyver as well. [thumbsup]

Hey bro....

Thanks for the recoomendation.... moving from Comprehensive to 3rd party fire and theft will definitely reduce the premium.

As for claim cases, so far I got one case who claim was about $10K... and his renewal quote under NTUC is $3.2K excess $500... and I managed to get one that is $1.6K for him with excess $0 at the end of it.... [nod]

Neutral Newbie

I find AIG is better. If you have 50% NCD, they give you another 5%. If you are 35 - 39 years of age, they have a package if cheaper. If you are 40+, lagi cheaper!

My 2 cents.

Yes... AIG has revised their rates recently... to make them more competitive .... but due to the fact that there is a alot of different cars on the road and different driver's profile... different insurer will have different and better offer as well.

So it really depends.... AIG was basically keeping their high premium rates until only recently.
