Achtung 6th Gear December 2, 2006 Share December 2, 2006 (edited) PDR good? Far from it manz. Asked them do my fenders the last time, tell me no confidence etc etc and I had to wait like a good 20 mins before he can talk to me. See doctor also must see one that is 'zai' and is confident. Imagine having an operation from a doc who says I scared etc etc from the onset? Fed up, went to my old good friend Lye and he did a marvellous job as usual. Been with him for many years. No regrets. It is always worth the wait then to let some incompetent buggers touch my beloved ride. PDR @ Capitol theatre also very good..... Achtung 6th Gear December 2, 2006 Share December 2, 2006 (edited) U used a very important KEY WORD here in your post. PATIENCE. Yes, Ah Lye has patience and he has lotsa it! He could spend 3 hrs plus knocking panels without the use of blow torches and putty like most workshop do. Edited December 2, 2006 by Achtung

Mamamia Clutched December 3, 2006 Share December 3, 2006 Ok dude....a forum is a good place to learn... I am sure everyone has their fave workshops whatever, but at least we know what works and what don't One of these days if you are ever free, I try to take some pics of some damaged cars and the after repair effects....then you will clearly be convinced.... Adawang 1st Gear December 3, 2006 Share December 3, 2006 PDR @ Capitol theatre also very good..... Have send them many e-mails and that its always bounce back. Call them no one answer... Really scary about their after Sales... This type of biz , no need aftersales service as once done no more dent, no more complaints

Rb26dett Clutched December 4, 2006 Share December 4, 2006 personally i've had some panels knocked and repaired at lye designs.i can say the workmanship is top of the industry.price might be on a little high side as compared to other workshops that patches more than they panel knock.but as far as ah lye can,he will try to slowly knock and advoid the need to spray the panel but instead polish it back to make the portion look flat and not so visible.others usually jus stick lotsa putty and sand down then send for spraying.after awhile you will see the patched up portion crack. all in all ah lye rox. only bad thing is,usually you have to make an appointment and wait dammmn long and can go up to a month of que. Can this Lye Design remove a dent on the fender? I understand door can be done but the fender there is no access for the tool. Any idea? Tks!
Raining Neutral Newbie January 1, 2007 Share January 1, 2007 Is ur fender plastic or metal ? If its metal, have seen him remove bumpers in order to access the tougher reach areas. But car models differs, best give him a call tell him your model and location.

Even the dents in the toughest places seldom proof difficult for him. Cannot agree their service is excellent too. I would recommend anyone to them anytime!
