New KIA Cerato

Just came back from the KIA showroom at Leng Kee, there is a nicely doen up brand new White sporty Cerato that has the following wording behind 2.0L CVVT Sport.

 

Cerato going up size engine ...

shifting it to compete with Magentis

 

Btw Cerato has 2.0L variant in other countries.

Any pics to share? I believe it would be hatchback rite

i would say FC for all KIA is quite bad.. hope this new engine (or is it??) will have better FC....

but pica FC is pretty acceptable though, 13-14 km/L.. initialli only got 9km/L.....

pica 13-14km/l? Wat's the % of highway vs city driving? Mine is 11.5km/l with 65% highway & 35% city driving...& it's a 2l i-VTEC coupe

 

And if i'm not wrong, the manual type Rs can hit 13km/l too! Amazing FC for a 2l..

well, to compare a car good or not on the FC, a fair comparision is base on an apple with an apple..

 

pica is 13-14km/L u get but how about those car in the same cat from other make?? that's why u say it's acceptable which i agree.... but initially at 9km/L is horrible...

Is not a face lift .. it looks same as the 1.6 model except for the wording at the back that say 2.0 CVVT.

Bro u confusing me, I meant to say Magentis just gotten a facelift thus cannot be that the 2.0L Cerato is here to replace the Magentis.

 

Like I mentioned, in other countries Cerato come in 2.0L variant which makes it a just right combi for its heavy chasis.

You right about that ... 1260kg for 2.0 cc with CVVT should be the way to go ..

bery chio....but FC will be a concern. my wife's colleague driving a cerato Fc sucks he says....interior not too good
