But in general GTR class cars are slower than the GT1 (and other similar) cars racing on circuits.... ...think McLaren F1 LM and Panoz Esparante..... 0-200 in under 10s.... Presea 3rd Gear March 13, 2003 Author Share March 13, 2003 ....uh... actually I was referring to the race version.... but the road going McLaren is actually 90-95% as good as the racing one....... If you watch Le Mans, you can see the various classes and see the speed difference.... those Audis, Bentleys and other top class ones are way ahead of the others.... Even Souped-up Ferraris and McLarens can't catch up with them.... but those GT1 and GTRs are really very hard to control..... remember the flying Merc CLK-GTRs.....
