Ah_bon Neutral Newbie July 3, 2006 Share July 3, 2006 (edited) One. I FINALLY STRIPPED OFF MY TOUGHSEAL!!!!! Two. Seeing so many raving reviews on FK1, I got my hands on some FK1 products to work on my Altis. Using a PC, OHC and OP. My buddy and I stripped off my Toughseal of one year and remove most of the defects on my Altis. We put on a layer of FK 2180 and Pink Wax thereafter. Both are easy on, easy off Here's some pics to share with the bros here.... Edited July 3, 2006 by Ah_bon ↡ Advertisement

Ah_bon Neutral Newbie July 3, 2006 Author Share July 3, 2006 Hi Mika140, Sorry... should have been clearer in my posting... PC = Portal Cable 7424, DA Machine. In short, heavy duty polishing machine OHC = Optimum Hyper Compund OP= Optimum Polish OHC is a abrasive polishing compound. Use it to stripe of the Toughseal and remove the defects (Mainly swirls and scratches). Manage to remove most of them except for a few deep scratches... have to life with it.... Use Optimum Polish to remove the hazing that OHC created. OP also has oils that help rejuvenates the car paint and bring back the shine of the paint work. Help this helps to clarify
Ah_bon Neutral Newbie July 3, 2006 Author Share July 3, 2006 Hi Bro, Yeah, something like that... i think... IT a kind of PPS (Paint Protection System) like Glare. It's suppose to be a layer of protection on the car paint. ToughSeal is acrylic PPS. Spend $400++ to do it when i 1st got my car last year and i did another re-coat few months later... To cut short the story, i wasn't happy with it. SO after enduring for so long. I finally stripe it off.
