Mzrmazda3 6th Gear July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 (edited) Given a choice for these 2 models, i believe 90% of the people will go for the Civic Edited July 10, 2006 by Mzrmazda3

Mach Clutched July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 I don't find the latest Civic very appealing looking but it still beats the Sylphy. Nissan has produced a real clumsy and ungainly looking car, esp from the rear.
Khee Neutral Newbie July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 Sylphy 1.5L is overprice... i think it will come down in a few mths time... As for Civic, same price as Civic vti 1.8l... might as well buy now... heard that the 1.6l civic is going to be Thai made... for better re-sale value, i think better to buy 1.8l Vti civic now... Nutty 4th Gear July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 Sylphy only wins in the luxury feel of the interior.
Quantum 5th Gear July 10, 2006 Author Share July 10, 2006 Now Sylphy1.5 has dropped to 65.5k , I think few month it will be like latio's price ,Civic 1.6 is 70.5K, overprice the most X in CatA

Nutty 4th Gear July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 Why do I have this perception that nissan cars price drops a lot? OR am I wrong?
Amazon777 3rd Gear July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 (edited) heard that the 1.6l civic is going to be Thai made... for better re-sale value, i think better to buy 1.8l Vti civic now... Civic 1.6L is confirmed "Made in Japan", confirmed with KM. KM has a contract with Honda to bring in Civic from Japan, otherwise how KM going to justify for the premium pricing which is only $500 difference compare to the outgoing discontinued basic model (140ps) 1.8VTi. Kreasibaru Neutral Newbie July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 how would you know slyphy win in fc? so far nissan forum members getting 11 to 12km. what is the civic 1.6 fc? a bit over price at the moment becos its new. only consider the sylphy if you want the space and the features, but then again at that price tc selling even the megane 1.6 is cheaper. same platform + 6 airbags. Amazon777 3rd Gear July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 (edited) Megane is dated. When Megane 1.6L was launched in late 2003, it was selling at close to $90K. Edited July 10, 2006 by Amazon777

Khee Neutral Newbie July 10, 2006 Share July 10, 2006 Sylphy1.5 does not have as much equipment level as Latio... no climate control, auto light sensor and the leather seat are locally fitted... the only good thing abt sylphy is that u can opt for the GPS system as the 2l one...
