The stock pad is the soft types that create a lot of dust. If you want to get rid of that, then change to non soft type. I changed mine and didn't need to wash my rims so often.

Boh Pian Leh, Ann Nee Qwan Eh Lah ! These none-asbestos brake pads that we use on modern day cars are like that ! Have seen the same on BMWs, MD, Toyota etc. You need to clean the wheels more regularly [sweatdrop] or try not to use the brakes [laugh]

Let me explain. Most cars today are front wheel drive. On top of that, the energy force is towards the front when you brake thus you noticed the front rim is dirtier than the back.

or maybe ur aVEo is using drum brakes at the back. So no brake dust at the back wheels [;)] wash your car everyday ba. one time over with a wet cloth.... after work. so next morning u can go to work in a nice sparkling clean car. [thumbsup]

Sounds like you are using the fiber glass body kit. They could be repaired by patching from behind and putty/respray. Guess the work would depend on the workshop you send it to. I would suspect that you may have to pay something close to $200 for the respray depending on how bad the crack is. The more patching they have to do, the more ex !
