Aimnfire 4th Gear August 28, 2006 Share August 28, 2006 where got sell ethanol? Sure its safe to just pour into ron 98 just like tt? How much to the litre in order to obtain 100? i dont know about you guys but in malaysia jb there are people selling air tapai (tapai juice) solely for the purpose to pre mix with petrol i did try using 80ml for 55l for 3 times just to get my engine use to it the results i got is that the car is more responsive but fc suffer (by 50km per full tank) cause as the car have the light feeling, you tend to over step your pedal the sparkplug was so clean at 30k servicing, that the mechanic was surprise that i was using the same spark plug all the while. ok after 3 tries i stop it and yes i can get back my milage but car is performance is like suck thumb like that.........sigh tomorrow hopefully they have new stock ready for me to try again........this time must be lighter foot
Dwoon 1st Gear August 29, 2006 Share August 29, 2006 Errr.... what's this stuff? Where in JB can buy and what's the cost. What does it do? Increase the RON/MON? Thanks
Aimnfire 4th Gear August 29, 2006 Share August 29, 2006 there's a place they sell usually they will put in a bottle about 80ml........just pour in when ever you pump in petrol full tank just now i just bought but this version is more stronger lucky the seller told me to put in about 20ml for my full tank the whole bottle.....hmmmm cannot tell you how much lah yet..... almost most part of jb knows this thing works the problem is, the inventer is yet to market it as he's using for his benefits and only selling to friends or members i got some with me that can last up to 5 fill up.......... i think i can forgo this bottle for anyone interested to try but instead of 1 person, i rather have 5 different person to let them test
Aimnfire 4th Gear August 29, 2006 Share August 29, 2006 ethanol is abt 129 ron. 10% ethanol and 90% 98ron fuel would be abt 101ron. I don't know where you can get it but the alcohol used in hospitals for disinfecting is ethanol. tapai juice.....wikipedia it under alcohol

Atlantis_boi Clutched August 30, 2006 Share August 30, 2006 (edited) U can try the octane booster frm Best Chem. It costs $75 for 18litres. Recommended mixing ratio is 1L of Best chem to 4L of petrol That BESTCHEM octane booster is toluene. Yes, it is darn good and ex as well. I only used like 4 ltr mix with 50 ltrs of 98RON..... Wow The exhaust coming out is hotter than normal though with a strange smell, and I even got my leg "singed" accidentally while doing some stuff in the boot with the engine running. So diluted & u stil can feel the difference, mayb it's due to ur TC ride. U got a exhaust temp in ur car?
