Fff0 Neutral Newbie December 12, 2006 Share December 12, 2006 got the ver 1 ripped off.... nothing at all except for 3 big caps which I believe its 13000uF ea and 1pc of 1000uF.. together with voltmeter circuits. Seriously, I doubt the 13000uF because its so much smaller than my 10000uF, 35v. Well, it does work till a certain extent but it kept draining my batt dry due to the always "on" voltmeter and LED....therefore trashed it..... Btw, I bought it in AutoBacs at only 125 with installation and 3 pt grounding wires.... during some promo....

Xiaogary Neutral Newbie May 7, 2007 Share May 7, 2007 (edited) I am using VSDII from D1 Spec for the pass 3 months. I already have an RMK voltage stabiliser and 4 point grounding before I added this VSDII. I personally feel the power is improved. Especially when u step trottle abt 0-15% after each gear change for 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd gear. For higher gear, the power increase is when u step more to overtake abt maybe from 30-40% trottle to 70-80% trottle. For it to work on my car, I need to step, hold a bit and continue to step a bit (machiam like the fuel does not burn finish, too rich, waiting for it to finish before I step more to feed in more petrol). If I straight away step a lot, the power is not as great or there is no much improvement. The engine sound is already different whenever I feel the power increase. Its works and feels like the sparks is stronger, thats why my low end torque is improved for 1st 2 gear and high end power is increase for the bigger sparks to burn petrol faster. Initially I am afraid my FC will worsen cos more sparks burn more petrol. But after monitoring. My FC improved. My FC with 13 inch stock wheel used to finish full tank abt 480km. Install 17 inch, it maintains when I drive slowly. No increase in FC unless I anyhow play pick up and step a lot. But my FC start to worsen after I big bore my trottle body and tong my exhaust, drop to 420km will finish one full tank. Now with VSDII, it can go until 460km even if I anyhow step my trottle and play pick up. I have not try to slowly drive with VSDII becos I like to hear the little roaring noise when I step more to overtake or speed up. This is only my personal experience. I will like to see whether the brighter sparks helps after I install my e manage Gold onto my ride. Actually D1 Spec VSDII is already out in market for very long time. Its alreadt selling in Taiwan few years ago. And price is cheaper last time when D1 Spec is not so popular. Nowadays, D1 Spec brand become more branded and the price of D1 Spec increase a lot. I saw the old sticker of D1 Spec labelled $260. I bought $340. Saw the label only after I paid. The shop assistance pai seh and tell me its becos last time sell cheaper bcos D1 Spec last time dont worth so much. Nowadays branded already, so price increase. Seanboi 1st Gear May 7, 2007 Share May 7, 2007 is there such a huge diff in e prices? From the link i posted, its selling below $200.
Xiaogary Neutral Newbie May 7, 2007 Share May 7, 2007 It is. I can show you the receipt of the VSD II I bought and the box's old label of the before-increase-price. By the way the price is for VSD II. Not Voltage Stabiliser. Its 2 different product. Voltage stabiliser is cheaper. Outside selling $100+ only. VSD II is different from Voltage Stabiliser. It increase voltage of ignition coil and spark plug to 16v. Voltage stabiliser only try to make voltage as constant and atable.
Seanboi 1st Gear May 7, 2007 Share May 7, 2007 yes bro. its a VSD II at rock bottom price. Click on the link that i posted earlier. But u gotta be a member in order to view. VSD II is it the same as those spark optimiser that claimed to increase bhp by producing bigger sparks? Or is it a VS + a spark optimiser combined? Xiaogary Neutral Newbie May 7, 2007 Share May 7, 2007 Its a VS + spark optimiser.

Brock 1st Gear May 9, 2007 Share May 9, 2007 http://forum.vogs.net/viewtopic.php?t=41773 Is this stuff really that gd? Can't access the site. Anyway, I always wonder and have asked (but no reply)...what's the difference between Pivot Raizin's blue VS and the D1Spec VS Ver 2? From eyeball, only difference is the capacitators look bigger on the D1Spec and the onboard voltmeter.
