Hi all,

I am considering getting a Mazda 5, the price after the bank rebate (about $3.3K) is $70.6K and at the interest rate of 3.2%.

Before I sign on the dotted line, anyone can give me comment, feedback on whether I should get this car? [hur][confused]

Any feedback, comment and objection all welcome [:p]

Thanks [nod]

Bro, do take note that Mazda 5 does not have rear aircon and hence rear passengers might not tahan the 'heat' during hot season [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Jus my humble opinion cos last 2 Sundays back went with a buddy to test drive the Odessey and it has rear aircon unit on both the roof for the rear passengers [thumbsup] Of course, price is almost a $25K as compare to Mazda 5 [:p]

Agree Bro [nod]

Odessey is definately [thumbsup]

But the price for the Premium model is almost 100K [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

But it's damn song sitting inside even for the 3rd row passenger [nod] Freaking spacious [thumbsup]

We have 5 adults plus 3 children on it during the test drive [:)]

For the price bracket, your other choices (Japaness) would be the

Picnic, Wish - Toyota

Stream - Honda

Zafira - Opel

M5 - Mazda

All the above listed are 7 seaters.

The plus point for the M5 is the styling. Sliding door. Decent handling. Some fellow M5 drivers say economy not bad. Doing around 11-12kmh.

Minus points are no rear aircon...

Personally I like the Mazda 5 for its overall package. Install a rear fan for the back passenger and that should help in our heat. I am driving the Picnic now and its also a nice ride. Torquey engine and decent handling. Space is excellent as the way Toyota package it. It has rear aircon and very comfortable for everyone in the long run. (6 pax to Genting before). Economy is so so nia...doing around late 9 to 11kmL for highway runs.

it price is your 1st option, M5 should be the best option in Japanese MVP, otherwise top up $3k for Honda Stream, better Power, FC and OMV [thumbsup]

However, the old Stream can never match the M5 in terms of interior space. If not, the new Stream should be coming in soon.

There's also the Opel Zafira 1.8 MTA with 140hp going at 70k in today's classifieds.
