Now my SE is giving me a lot of problems...

 

Firstly, my ride was promised by the 16 Feb, up till now, the car is still in the port...

 

Secondly, as per the sales agreement i was to enjoy a guaranteed COE and rebate at 9000. But my SE refused to give me my rebate and is giving me a COE valued at 11k. And the current price is at 5200, would any of you accept this?

 

To top it off, he mentioned that since i didn't put 10k to bid for COE, therefore i will not get the rebate and this was not in the agreement.

 

And the best part was that i paid an extra 2K for the car to be delivered before CNY, and since he has a spare COE or whatever in the first place, he's eating my 2 K for nothing!!!

 

Another issue to mention is that since i booked my ride 2 weeks ago, he asked me to choose my rims design. Soon after he told me the rims are already in. But to my horror and disgust, he called me 2 days later to tell me that the rims are out of stock. This is already an outright LIE!!!

 

Because i'm not taking any loan, he even asked me to make full payment before delivery of the car. Which imo, only a fool would do if their SE gave them this sxxt!

 

Lastly, he's super rude, talks to me like an ah beng and i have to keep calling him for updates instead of the other way round.

 

My only worry is that my 1k deposit is with his company... I hope we can settle it amicably and have my rebates given to me or i would not hesitate to bring him and his company to the Small Claims Court. Since the offer and acceptance were already evident. And i gave him a 1k deposit as consideration. As for intention, he banked my cheque.

 

I am considering ordering from a more reputable dealer... Can anyone please advice, i really very disgusted with this PI.

How many COE bids they promised?

Is the car you signed as a package guaranteed COE?

Usually ,when they say bid at e.g 11K capped,if the COE goes beyond 11K they'll lose out.

But if drop below 11K usually they dont refund the rebate.

i think he probably gave you Cat E COE.

 

although Cat E is 11k, do note this, when you de-register you vehicle in future, COE rebate (if any) will be based on the Cat A/B price at the point of time you got your COE or Cat E price (whichever is lower).

 

So for your case, it will be based on the current Cat A price which is abt 5k.

Don't think your SE told you this right?

 

now, "car is in port"..this phrase is commonly used by them. They'll keep telling you not to worry, the car arrived already, it's in the port already..but in actually fact, the car may still be in country of origin or on it's way.

 

So make sure they compensate you if you're not getting what you've been promised.

They told me guaranteed 2 bids.

 

And on the sales receipt as i mentioned, it wrote, GUARANTEED COE, rebate @ 9000.

 

And since so, he charged me 2K for it.

 

By going by your arguement, if guaranteed COE has no rebate, then why put the rebate amount?

 

And there were 2 SEs ard who put up the sales receipt...

If yes, then you should be banging on the table now.

 

Only 2 days left to CNY so it is now or after.

Most PI/AD will go for a week break during CNY

or it is either by Friday you must get the car

as you have already paid 2k for it or bring

them to justice.

 

But if they can get you to pay 2K for confirmed

COE and delivery by CNY when you signed,

they must have ex-stock or is expecting some shipment to

ETA right??

 

So whats the problem they are facing now.

 

I am thinking is it they owe Japan money

thats why the shipment is delayed.. [crazy]

btw, pls PM me which company you bought your car from? Your problems seem to be the same as what my friend faced. I have a feeling it's the same company we're talking abt here.

Altis, right?? your per year fuel expends not low lah [sweatdrop]

how many km of your one year trip?

 

Mine is about $250 per month for about 500 km per week. (one year ~ 27000km) 4k is just a rough value. [:p] Should be around 3k.

On paper fuel efficiency is 17.2km/l then have to minus 2 become 15.2km/l.

 

 

Toyota over exaggerate the f/c claim ! From a fren feedback,she got 14+km/l for the Axio

[:p]

 

the way they test fc is diff from SG. SG has too many traffic light. should take 20 to30% off the opfficial value for our context.
