you can never get any cheaper price (axio or any new corolla) than current tom yam altis anymore in future. That's very very very sure.

 

BM profit margin for altis is the lowest in Toyota car history. it's meant to capture the market share in it's class, which made it the most sellable car in S'pore history. (don't think there's any model in future can achieve it)

Forget about comparison with altis, vios, new model, old model, sueshi made, tong yam made, profit margin high, profit margin low, ... why be so concern and bother?

Yes, we all agreed that Altis's sales was a big time but it's over now.

 

Now it's going down hill, so it has to be the least profitable and bring down the price to attract customers. If the sales is not moving and yet the price is high, then who's buying?

Looking at the external design, it's nothing new but a mid size between new Vios and Camry. But why can't they design something different than copy the small, medium and large all the 3 same designs?

 

The designer is very idle or probably make it on purpose?

 

As the Japanese themselves are launching the Corolla Axio only for mid range.

last weekend, has a chance to get real close look at parked axio, i peep the int and im quite dissapointed with it... one glance it's very vios look a like interior..... infact, i thought it's a much better design until i saw it with my own eyes and dissapointed..... i owned a vios previously and latio currently... although i miss the "power" of vios comparing with weaky latio, i have to say latio interior wins in every corner..

 

when come to exterior, it's nice in certain perspective but the interior is and boring after so many years with nearly no change...

quite true but if axio comes with refreshed nice interior design, it could create another "wish" rush kind of sales volume for the PI leh.....

 

i was thinking of getting axio also before i go for latio few mths back but the price is one factor which i go for latio (axio was like 4-5K more than latio...). if u ask me today, after viewing axio interior, even with same price, i will go for latio....

It is best to test drive before committing. you be surprise by the power of AXIO

I was amaze by this 1500cc car. very smooth and responsive and quiet ride.
