Heeltoenoob Neutral Newbie November 29, 2006 Share November 29, 2006 Test drive is highly recommended. You can look at all the specs sheet and whatever crap the SE/people say about the car. At the end of the day, drive it yourself and see how it performs when it's alive, instead of it sitting there in the showroom.

Choo Neutral Newbie November 29, 2006 Share November 29, 2006 After you have done your initial analysis and come to the finalised list of cars, test drive serves a few things - It confirms your impression on the car, its acceleration, handling, sound proofing and last but not leastthe overall feel when you are driving it - It also confirm other small litlle details but cou;d have an impact to your final deciison on purcahsing thecar, the view around the driving seat, the view from the side mirrors and rear view mirror. I take this very seriously as some cars may be good to look at from outside but hell to sit in and drive from the inside As for the test route, I usually asked for a longer route before I asked for test drive, but its only with the cars that I trying to make the final decision. Ofcourse, If they refuse, still go for a short test drive, but lost likely I will sign on the dotted line for another brand...
