Any idea where can I get something this in Singapore? I'm a value for money person. No need for Pioneer or Eclipse types.

I'm using this exact same DVD player in my car.

I bought it from ebay. I think it was USD300, and delivery took only 3 days via FedEx from HK.

It works great...plays all my DivX and AVI downloaded movies too :)

ONLY 2 problems with it i can think of.

1) On screen display on Avi movies cannot be turned off..there's no OSD button. Ive emailed them to confirm this

2) If you want true DTS sound, give this a miss because the sound output can't do DTS.

I've not bought a TV antenna to use the built in TV tuner yet so i dunno about the TV quality :)

Oooh! Thanks for the feedback. Any pic to show the OSD on AVI movies looks like?

No need for true DTS sounds for me. Just standard sound ok already. True DTS I play via home system!

I was looking to see if I can get it locally...

Locally will be hard. I looked long and hard locally for something similar but eventually went on ebay instead. Shipping was only USD20 for 3day fedex...total i pay only SGD400+

It's cheaper via ebay...

For avi movies, the time will be on screen and you can remove it so it's quite irritating.

For normal DVDs, there's no on screen time and you can't turn it on either :) There's no OSD button!!!

For the price i paid, i'm more than happy with it's performance.Screen is clear also.

$400+, can't complain :)

Seems a good deal. Thanks for info.

But output power seems weak (market all around 4-50w). Do you need addtional amplifer?

Yes, the output is weak..

Usually people who fix on DVD players WILL have amps if not it's going to be pointless to have a DVD player :)

This set is NOT high end so if you don't use amps and another HU, you will NOT be able to control faders or EQ or Equalizers etc... This DVD set doesn't have all those features.

It's basically a cheap screen that has DVD playing functions...that's about ALL...

You will need an additional good HU that has an AUX in to connect this to so you can control the output sounds. With a decent setup, your movies will be booming nicely :)

I bought this set only because it was dirt cheap and i rarely watch movies, only on occasion and for SQ i still prefer to use a regular CD HU rather than a DVD player, since this doesn't have a LCD screen and you can't have the scren up when driving, you will need a normal HU to control your CDs...

Neutral Newbie

Thanks for sharing so much info.

Since already have one HU, it should be ok if this DVD can link to current one through AUX. Also my car got two din with one din on and one din empty.

Already send the email to the manufacture for group buy or single. Hope they will reply soon.

Cheers,
