11 days only. No need lah. No big deal.

If you want to disconnect battery, why bother to ask how many days period must start once ? Once every 2 days for 5 minutes more than enough.

Neutral Newbie

to disconnect battery.

1)Open bonnet

2)Locate battery and their terminals

3)Look for the "-ve" terminal and the wire that is linked to it.

4)Loosen the nut in the "-ve" terminal and remove the wire

5)Pat urself on the back for a job well done

6)beware when u put back, there may be sparks, this is normal. its becoz battery high amperage, so can cause "arcing". No worries, wun kill u, if u do not touch the "+ve" at the same time.

No need to disconnect batt. If batt is good, even after 2 weeks, you can still start the car.

Starting the car not good enough. You need to drive the car.

Just relax and go for your long deserve break from the daily heat and pressure. Leave yr rid as it is, and it if you wish to get yr someone to start up - please make sure he or she takes the " horses" for a long drive to charge up all the battery( every time the battery crank the engine about 60amp is be used up) and to burnt up all the water vapour inside the engine.Happy holiday and pl don't forget to buy soverniers for all MCF kaki

As yeobh said, just leave the car as it is. no need to start or disconnect the battery.

If going for a much longer trip then either one of the other can be done. and starting every 2 days is overkill. once a fortnight for 10-15mins is all that is needed.

Why all the worry. Just leave the Cefiro with me during the trip & get it back in tip-top running condition when u come back. I can even send u off at the AIRPORT & not just the AIRPOT. [laugh]

I can even pick u up when u return but make sure u leave a cash-card with $50 in the car & a full tank of gas first. [sly]

Better make a decision fast cos u only got a couple of days left.
